Peer Coaching Communities
Are you longing for advisers to help steer your life and career?
Once Per Month you will meet with 6-8 other women by phone or video conference for 75 minutes. The group will set a time that works best. The first two sessions will be led by a trained coach. After that, a peer group leader
The Agenda Minutes 1 - 20. Creating the Space. Members will reflect on both Jewish and Secular sources along a leadership and professional development theme. Members will highlight opportunities and challenges that relate to this theme. Minutes 20 - 45. Facilitator helps groups agree on topic for further discussion based on common opportunities and challenges. Members go deeper to share wisdom and experiences on that topic. Minutes 45- 60: Spotlight. Members support one member who has volunteered to get more intensive support and feedback. Minutes 60- 75: Members set intentions for the upcoming month to make progress on their goals from their strategic plans, and make specific requests for support, resources and connections. Preparation Members will submit a meeting prep worksheet 24 hours in advance. Members should plan to spend approximately one hour completing this worksheet and also set aside time to read each other's worksheets. |
The groups will meet for a minimum of 6 months. However, the expectation is that this will be an ongoing community of support. At the end of the six months the group will design a new agreement and build consensus around how to continuing to be AVODAH Women Leading Together in a life-long endeavor to be powerful Jewish leaders for social change.
